Welcome to the Edo State SDGs. We're a dedicated Agency committed to driving the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within Edo State. Our work is rooted in the belief that a sustainable and equitable future for all isn't just an aspiration, but an achievable reality through focused effort and collaborative action

To cultivate a thriving, resilient, and inclusive Edo State where every citizen has the opportunity to prosper, live in a healthy environment, and contribute to a peaceful and equitable society, in alignment with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development

Our Mission

To strategically coordinate, implement, and monitor Sustainable Development Goal initiatives across Edo State through innovative programs, collaborative partnerships, and community empowerment, ensuring no one is left behind

Our Mandate

EDO-CSDA is entrusted with the responsibility of facilitating socio-economic development at the grassroots level in Edo State. Our mandate includes providing support and resources to empower communities in implementing micro-projects aimed at poverty reduction and improving access to essential services such as healthcare, education, and water supply. Through collaborative efforts, we strive to build resilient and self-reliant communities that contribute to the overall development of the state.

Sustainable Development Goals

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030. They address global challenges, including poverty, hunger, health, education, climate change, gender equality, water, sanitation, energy, environmental sustainability, and social justice.

In Edo State, we translate these global goals into local actions. Our approach involves identifying key challenges unique to our communities, developing targeted programs, fostering strong partnerships, and empowering our citizens to be active participants in their own development. We believe that by aligning our efforts with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we can build a resilient, prosperous, and inclusive Edo State for current and future generations.
